From 1985 to 2000, Holmegaard was part of Royal Scandinavia, which consisted of Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Orrefors, Illums Bolighus and Holmegaard. Many of their products were sold under the Royal Copenhagen name. The beak vase was designed by Per Ltken in 1952 and only went out of production in the 1970s.
